About the Meat Rabbit Weight Chart

This chart averages weights from several different common breeds of meat rabbits that fall into what is considered the "medium" size rabbit category (also referred to as "commercial" breeds of rabbits). This is the category that shows the most efficient feed conversion and has the best bone-to-meat ratios. In other words, the most common breeds used for meat production.

    Hello Mary,

I could not find any other means to contact you, which is why I am writing this comment. I am the founder of the App RabbitCloud https://rabbitcloud.com/en Currently most of our users are European show breeders, but we are interested in possibly adjusting it to make it work for meat breeders as well.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in meat rabbits and has a audience, like you who is interested in exploring this as a mutual beneficial project.

I would love to hear your thoughts on that.

    Best,
    Maurice

Would you mind if I used the numbers from your chart on a growout spreadsheet I'm planning to offer (for free) on my own rabbitry website? I would link to this page and credit you for the information, of course. My website is https://silversonsrabbitry.com/ (a local Ohio rabbitry so who knows if anyone will even download my chart).

You are one of my "rabbit heroes" who helped me get into rabbits at all, and all of the information you provide is SO appreciated. Thank you!

      HI Lauren,
That would be fine as long as there is a link on the spreadsheet and on the post write up. Thank you! Your site looks great!
